Christian Influencers: An open letter

By definition, an influencer is leading the way—out front and calling people towards what’s right and true.

But, we have changed the term “influencer” to meaning that you have lots of followers on social media… followers that apparently are easily offended and that will unfollow that said influencer.

But, that’s actually a part of leadership; not all will like or agree with what you’re doing but a true leader still must say and do what’s needed.

I’m calling on Christian influencers, pastors, teachers, politicians, and parents to care more about true than likes.

And to be reminded that if Jesus gave you any platform than it must be used to serve God’s purpose over yours.

Whether we have 1 follower or 1 million, let’s commit to say and act in alignment with truth over popular cultural opinion.
